What better way to kick off Fiji International than with an “Espresso Par-tini” which is this years’ signature cocktail created by Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Limited for the Fiji International which starts on August 17.
“Paradise Beverages has been sponsoring golf in Fiji for over 20 years and the Fiji International is a great platform to showcase our brands to the world. This year we are using our biggest beer brand; Fiji Gold which is now being exported to China, Korea, Samoa and New Zealand. ” said Rowena Taito; Head of Marketing & NPD.
Paradise Beverages are also showcasing and having available their Rum Co of Fiji range of rums and liqueurs for golfers, spectators and everyone at the tournament. The Espresso Par-tini is a sumptuous mix of Grinders Coffee X-tract, our award winning Katia Triple Distilled Vodka and Rum Co. of Fiji Coffee liqueur.
Fiji International signature cocktails for the past 3 years has been created by Rum Co.of Fiji mixologist Alipate Laveti.
Last year we had the ‘Paradise Eagle’ which was a rich and complex blend of Rum co. of Fiji Coffee Liqueur, 8 year old White Rum mixed with fresh lime juice.
Previous cocktails had tropical flavours but this year they’ve decided to follow the Espresso Martini global trend. They are also using and showcasing the new ‘Coffee X-tract’ which is based on a 100% pure extract of whole coffee beans and has no additives. The flavour profile is of rich chocolate and hazelnuts and the extract is made by the CCA Grinders business in Australia.
“It’s exciting that we get to showcase this cocktail with Rum Co. of Fiji and coffee at any time of the day and it is definitely going to be a hit,” said Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa Director of Dining and Entertainment, Craig Wood.
“This cocktail is delicious and attractive and I’m sure people will love it,” said Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa Assistant Outlet Manager, Penjamini Cokotuiqele. The Espresso Par-tini will be served at Fiji International event functions including the tournament welcome dinner.
