Take an inside look at Fiji’s biggest international sporting tournament, the Fiji International, thanks to the Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition.

Being run in conjunction with the Fiji International “Give Golf a Go” Road Show, the Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition offers an exclusive experience at the tournament which will be played at Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course from 6-9 October.

To enter the competition Fijians are invited to take a selfie with a Fijian Made product or at any of the Fiji International “Give Golf a Go” Road Show sites, alongside the Fijian Made cut outs, then simply upload the selfie to the Fijian Made Facebook page to confirm the entry.

The most creative two entries will be treated with a friend to a nights’ accommodation and a behind the scenes tour of the Fiji International as well as VIP access to the corporate entertainment areas.

They will also receive a Fijian Made hamper and an opportunity to meet the Fiji International Brand Ambassadors; our Sevens Rugby Heroes Osea Kolinisau, Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Emosi Mulevoro as well as Miss World Fiji, Pooja Priyanka.

“We are extremely proud of our Fijian Made products, our Gold Medal Olympians and our largest international sporting event; the Fiji International,” said the Honourable Faiyaz Koya, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism.

“The Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition brings all of these uniquely Fijian experiences together to form the ultimate experience for four lucky Fijians.”

“The Fiji International “Give Golf a Go” Road Show aims to provide Fijians a chance to try this wonderful game and by aligning the Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition with this Road Show allows a greater opportunity and platform for Fijians to enter this competition.” he added.

A key aim of the Fiji International is to also grow the love of golf in Fiji and get Fijians involved in this wonderful sport. The “Give Golf a Go” Road Show is one initiative in place to help achieve this goal.

The Fiji International is delighted to have the support of the Fijian Government for this campaign, as it aims to discover Fiji’s next global golf superstar.

“The Fiji International has been a huge success in exposing Fiji to the lucrative international golf tourism industry,” said Natalie Ritter, General Manager of Tournament Operations for the PGA of Australia.

“But we would love to see more Fijians playing golf. Vijay Singh has been an incredible ambassador for Fiji on the world stage and like many Fijians is a very talented athlete.”

“We are sure there are more talented golfers just waiting to be discovered and we hope to do this through initiatives like the Road Show.”

As part of the Road Show, everyone who attends will be able to “Give Golf a Go” by hitting a golf shot into the Fiji International blow up hitting bay which will be travelling around the country.

While everyone can share in the excitement of golf thanks to the Fiji International, there will also be great cash prizes given away at each destination. Five lucky participants will receive a $100 cash prize at the end of each session which will be run from 11am – 3pm at every destination of the Fiji International “Give Golf a Go” Road Show.

First time golfers will also be in for a treat with a “Raw Talent” competition whereby anyone showing a natural gift for golf will be given a golf club to go home with and practice their swing. There will be other gifts given away to people who participate in the Fiji International “Give Golf a Go” Road Show.
