Taking home the biggest pay cheque of his career, Jeffress was lost for words as he walked up the 18th green, the win meaning a lot to the 38-year old who’s played on Tour for more than 15 years.

A model of consistency, Jeffress was the only player in the field to score under par on every day of the tournament.

He birdied three of his final four holes to seal the title, 20-year-old Jake Higginbottom falling away on Sunday to finish second.
