New Zealand’s Kieran Muir is still in a commanding position in the Higgins Fiji Open four shots clear of a rampaging Sam Lee.

Breezy conditions greeted the players at the start of the round which proved difficult to manage for those out early.

Lee fired the round of the day with a 7-under 65 to assert his position as the leading Fijian aiming to qualify for the 2017 Fiji International.

It wasn’t enough to catch overnight leader Kieran Muir who continued his stellar form with a 4-under 68 to sit atop of the leaderboard at 15-under par, four shots ahead of his nearest rival Sam Lee.

Muir’s compatriot Hayden Beard is just behind Lee on 10-under while the rest of the field has a lot of catching up to do, five shots separate third and Bill Suruturga in fourth on 5-under par.

The final round commences tomorrow at 7:30am with the leaders teeing off at 10:40am.
